Ok, got today as the last “normal” day without my girlfriend, and then tomorrow is packing and prep day, and then I leave Friday to see them!!! Will be over in no time and I am SO excited.

I have just spent like four hours making one of the ugliest things I have ever made. Up there with the giant weird bad navy patterned corduroy bag I made in high school to carry around all my CDs in jewel cases everywhere I went (??)

I am up too late sewing (??!) and I have a tiny suspicion a neighbor just blasted an air horn at me thru the wall????? Must have been outside but I turned my music down anyway….

Gonna try to sew something extremely simple, something I’ve been meaning to for years, something I’m calling a “pajama purse” haha so I can carry little shit around with me when I’m just wearing summer pajamas at home. And I’m gonna do it TONIGHT, bc I’ll use it for Soak this weekend too!

Hell yeah, Hardspace Shipbreaker is out of early access! What a good game. I logged 115h in it before it was even released 😬 and the end product is wayyy polished from older days!!!!

cw #money: it feels like, for me anyway, the way to use YNAB for me is to assign every single dollar and not over-allocate things. then I don’t get tricky with what feels like “extra” (because it’s not extra). at least til I pay off my credit cards – I’ve got one down, one to go in like ~four more months, and then a personal loan I took out to pay off a card I then rang up again. why have extra in “groceries” for next month where instead I could put another hundred bucks on my CC?? particularly since, if I needed it, I could just USE those CCs if things got tight? should be noted that this is all after having basically enough for a couple months if something really wack happened.
